MaryJane Hunt joined Knoxville Hospital & Clinics in January 2012 as the Chief Nursing Officer. She brought with her a diverse background in healthcare and leadership. MaryJane has been a registered nurse for over 20 years, serving in various clinical and administrative capacities. She began her career as a surgical nurse working in hospitals both large and small; and has served numerous nurses, not only as their manager, but as their mentor. In August 2013, MaryJane assumed additional leadership responsibilities over all KHC Clinics and became the Chief Clinical Officer. MaryJane holds a master’s degree in business leadership through William Penn University. She leads by example and believes nursing commits to the core values; human dignity, integrity, autonomy, and self-sacrifice. MaryJane is a current member of ACHE, AORN, IONL, and ANA; board member of William Penn Nurse Advisory Council; and has served on many other advisory boards. MaryJane is married to Kevin and has three children.
