KNOXVILLE – Congratulations to Faith Martin, Nursing-Med/Surg., for being selected the KHC Hero of the Month at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics.

“Faith has been a great asset to the Med/Surg. department. She has been flexible in where she works and helps fill in as a sitter in the ED. She has really taken initiative to learn her new role here. I was touched the other day when I heard she was concerned for her co-worker’s safety on a Sunday morning when weather conditions were slippery. She had worked all night and knew the day staff would be driving in on slick roads and walking in on slick sidewalks. Faith shoveled snow and sprinkled salt on the sidewalks to make sure the day shift staff using that entrance would be safe. How sweet and thoughtful at the end of her long 12 hour shift!,” read her nomination.

Faith will be in the running for KHC Hero of the Year in May 2018.

The other employees nominated in April were Hayley Dobson, Ally Olson, and Miles Anderson.
