KNOXVILLE – Congratulations to Hannah Ostrander, Nutritional Services/Diabetes Education, for being selected the KHC Hero of the Month.

“Recently Hannah and I had a mutual patient that could not afford medications that are extremely important to their health.  The patient only had a 2 day supply left when I presented this nominee with this challenge.  She immediately got to work on finding a solution.  She was not only able to help the patient get their medication, but was also able to get expedited delivery so the patient did not have to go without it.  She is an amazing team player who goes above and beyond for her patients,” commented a co-worker.

Other employees nominated in June were Michelle Sedlock, Nursing-Surgery, and Ashley Hicks, Registration.
