KNOXVILLE – Congratulations to Heather Key, Nursing, for being selected the KHC Hero of the Month.

“Heather went above and beyond expected nursing care with our mom from April 18-May 24. She loved our mother – it was very evident with her tender attention and passionate care. As mom was waiting on transport to Comfort House in Pella, this employee was holding mom’s hand with tears rolling down her cheeks. My family had not met this employee prior to my mom’s admission. This employee has a great gift. She made my mom’s time in KHC pleasant with her loving care and will always be remembered with great respect and admiration by our family,” commented a family member.

Other employees nominated in July were April Runnells, Nursing, and Karen Jacobs, Nutritional Services.
