Knoxville Hospital & Clinics’ (KHC) primary care providers and surgeons work closely with medical oncologist and hematologist Dr. Roscoe F. Morton of Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates.
Many surgical and nonsurgical cancer procedures are performed at KHC, including pre- and post-surgery infusion therapies at the Infusion Center.
Other services include social services to help with the emotional and financial stresses of cancer; pain management to help relieve discomfort from cancer and its treatments; education to help management treatments and make adjustments at home; and hospice care to support and care for terminally ill patients.
Roscoe F. Morton, MD, FACP
Dr. Morton is employed by the Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Colorado College and his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine Wichita Campus and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and by the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
