Knoxville Hospital & Clinics understands that these are tough economic times for everyone. As a committed member of our communities, we have implemented our new, “Sensitive Times Economic Program” (STEP) for all health care services rendered at our hospital and clinics on or after May 1, 2009.

STEP makes it possible for our community to avoid having to miss their valuable doctor visits and put off or postpone necessary health care. “We are very excited to be able to offer the STEP program to our community. We are very sympathetic to the financial struggles that the residents of our communities are dealing with these days. The STEP program will help our communities continue to receive the same outstanding, quality care that Knoxville Hospital & Clinics is known for”, states John Domansky, Chief Financial Officer.

Qualifications for the STEP program are simple – for example, individuals earning an annual gross income of less than $32,490 or families of 4 earning an annual gross income of less than $66,150 will qualify for a discount on the patient portion of their bill from Knoxville Hospital & Clinics.

We are inviting our communities to take a “STEP in the right direction” for their health care by contacting our Customer Service Department at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics (641-842-1423 or 641-842-1410) to get more information about the STEP application process.

Knoxville Hospital & Clinics, a Critical Access Hospital serving Marion County and the surrounding area, is dedicated to providing personal, progressive quality health care with compassion.
