KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Knoxville Hospital & Clinics is pleased to announce that Kate Ripperger, ARNP, has joined its medical staff. Kate’s primary responsibilities will include treating patients in Acute Care.
Kate is a graduate of Graceland University, Kansas City, MO. In 2018, she received her Masters of Science in Nursing. In addition, she holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Mount Mercy College (2007).
Kate has an extensive nursing background having served in Emergency and Surgery Departments in Texas and Iowa. She is a member of the Emergency Nurse Association whose mission is to advocate for patient safety and excellence in emergency nursing practice.
As an Acute Care provider, Kate provides care for individuals who are experiencing cold and flu symptoms; sore throat; minor burns, cuts, or rashes; ear, sinus, or urinary tract infection; sprains or strains; pink eye; vomiting and diarrhea; and other acute ailments.
Kate is a Knoxville native. She graduated from Knoxville High School and has one daughter.
