KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Knoxville Hospital & Clinics is pleased to announce that Dr. Darryl Johnson has joined its medical staff. With over 30 years of experience in obstetrics & gynecology, Dr. Johnson will be coming to Knoxville monthly while he continues to maintain his practice in Newton.
Dr. Johnson treats the full scope of women’s health issues including annual checkups, pelvic exams, pap smears, family planning, and minimally invasive OB/GYN procedures (hysterectomy, tubal sterilization, etc.). In addition, he treats many gynecological issues including abnormal pap smears, urinary tract infection and incontinence, menopause management, hormone replacement therapy, and basic fertility treatments.
Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency from the Chicago Osteopathic Hospitals & Medical Center. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Association in obstetrics and gynecology.
