KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Knoxville Hospital & Clinics is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark D. Fish has joined its medical staff. Dr. Fish is an orthopaedic surgeon with 17 years of experience. He specializes in joint arthroplasty (hip, knee, shoulder), arthroscopic surgery, and sports medicine; and is certified to perform NAVIO robotics-assisted knee replacement surgery, a big advancement in precision knee surgery.
Dr. Fish is a native of Des Moines and graduated from Des Moines University in 2001. He completed training in orthopaedic surgery in Michigan and continued his training in Indianapolis with a Fellowship in Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine. He is a member of the clinical faculty and a lecturer at Des Moines University. Dr. Fish is currently Vice-President of Adult Reconstruction Arthritis Section, for the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics.
