KNOXVILLE – An inspection of the Laboratory at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) program took place recently and found no deficiencies for the third year in a row. The Laboratory passes CLIA inspections on a regular basis to prove proficiency, quality and competency of the staff, equipment, and internal processes.
“With so many areas within the laboratory surveyed, the achievement of a deficiency free inspection is a great testament and tremendous accomplishment to the technicians who work in the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Laboratory,” said Kevin Kincaid, Chief Executive Officer at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics. “Without their hard work and dedication, the quality and dedication to our patients would not be possible.”
