KNOXVILLE – Knoxville Hospital & Clinics is happy to announce that the new primary care clinic will open on Monday, November 9. Patients can access the new clinic through the temporary entrance on the south side of the clinic.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our primary care clinic,” said Kevin Kincaid, Chief Executive Officer. “We are committed to providing the people living and working in Knoxville and the surrounding area with exceptional healthcare and a personalized experience.”
With the new primary clinic open, work will begin on demolishing the old clinic building to build the new main entrance. During this time, the temporary hospital entrance will be the MRI entrance on the south side of the hospital campus. Hospital patients and visitors will be able to enter this entrance and follow signage directing to the temporary registration desk.
Hospital and clinic patients are encouraged to park in the new parking lot on the south side. Please follow all posted signage directing patients and visitors to the new temporary entrances.
The new Physical Therapy gym will open on Monday, November 16. Patients are encouraged to park in the north parking lot and enter through the new north entrance. Please follow signage posted.
The temporary Emergency Department entrance remains open to patients who need urgent treatment. Signage is posted directing all non-emergency patients and visitors once they enter the facility.
