Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Honors Employees with Annual Service Awards

KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Knoxville Hospital & Clinics (KHC) recognized 29 employees who are celebrating a milestone service anniversary in 2023 during an awards ceremony held during National Hospital Week, May 8-14.

Employees were recognized with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 35 year service awards. The 29 employees represent a combined 355 years of providing health care to our patients and the communities we serve.

“Our people are our most important resource, and we can’t thank them enough for their years of hard work,” said KHC Director of Operations Mark Worrall. “Their dedication and invaluable experience have helped KHC become one of the top rural health care facilities it is today.”

5 years of service: Karen Anderson; Marlene Crews; Kaylene DeFrancisco; Haley Hoch; Candius McMahon; Logan Miller, DO; Amber Moore; Jan Myers; Erika Pleggenkuhle; Kate Ripperger, ARNP; Summer Six; Bonnie Stalzer; and Megan Sutter.

10 years of service: Samantha Brooks-Ford; Beth DeMello; Laci Dykstra, ARNP; Casey Herold; Michelle Irwin; Sherry Meador; Amanda Phillips; Elly Shaw; and Alicia Wright.

15 years of service: Holly Ives.

20 years of service: Natalie Rowley, PA.

25 years of service: Heather Dunkin.

35 years of service: Sally Clark; Cindy Crozier; Laura Hugen; and Debbie Lefler.

Each employee was honored with a VISA gift card in various amounts.

In addition, Rosie Reid was honored as “Hero of the Year.” Other prior Employee of the Quarter recipients in the running for Hero of the Year included Jenci Bachman, Maddison Smith, and Karen Bacon.

Kyley VanDonsler, RN, was recognized with the annual DAISY Award. Other employees nominated for the DAISY Award included Ami Morgan, Lori Mallory, Molly McConnell, and Sue Flander.
