“Welcome to Medicare” Seminar to be Held at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics

KNOXVILLE – Knoxville Hospital & Clinics (KHC) will be holding a free “Welcome to Medicare” seminar on Tuesday, July 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the KHC Learning Center. Face masks will be required. The seminar will cover Medicare Parts A & B, Part D Prescription Drug Benefits, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplement Insurance, as well as information on identifying Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse.

This seminar is open to anyone approaching Medicare age, anyone on Medicare who would like to understand it better, family members, and interested community members. The seminar is free, but registration is required. Please call (641) 842-1488 to reserve your spot.

This seminar is being held in connection with the State of Iowa’s Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP). SHIIP counselors are trained by the state and do not sell or promote any insurance companies, policies, or agents. KHC is a local sponsor for SHIIP in Marion County.
