Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation Hosts Annual Golf Classic

KNOXVILLE, Iowa – On Friday, June 16, 60 golfers teed off at the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics (KHC) Foundation Golf Classic at Pine Knolls Golf Club in Knoxville.

The four-person best ball event is an annual collaboration of local businesses, hospital business partners, and individuals who support the event through sponsorships and participation in the tournament.

This year’s event sponsors included Capital Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, DeYarman Automotive-Knoxville, Edge Companies, Eide Bailly, Finway Group, Gradient9 Studios, Invision, Iowa Specialty Surgeons, Knoxville Nuclear Medicine, Leighton State Bank, Marion County Bank, McKay Group, Two Rivers Cooperative, and Weiler.

“Through the generous support of our sponsors and golfers, the golf classic is a terrific event that allows our community to come out and have fun golfing while also supporting the KHC Foundation,” said Kevin Stittsworth, KHC Director of Foundation & Public Relations. “We are deeply appreciative of our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who help make this a fun and successful event.”

Proceeds from this year’s golf classic will help support many projects at KHC including the expansion of the Don & Margaret Long Infusion Center and Weiler Foundation Specialty Clinic, as well as the renovation of the Emergency and Surgery Departments.
