The Health Coach program is a free program offered by the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics to provide you with confidential assistance to achieve your personal health care and lifestyle improvement goals.
Your partnership with a Health Coach will not only assist you in managing your health, but it will help you feel better.
The Health Coach program is designed to help patients of all ages who are managing chronic conditions or are in need of community support.
Our program encourages patients to take an active role in managing their health. Once individuals gain a better understanding of their health risks, they'll learn how to address those issues and make positive, long-term changes that will help them get healthy and stay healthy in the future.
How does the health coach program work?
Have you ever wanted to improve your health but didn’t know where to start? A health coach can help.
Our Health Coach is a registered nurse who works directly with your primary care provider to assist you in reaching your personal healthcare and lifestyle improvement goals.
Health coaches provide guidance, support, and resources; remind you when it is time for your health screenings and wellness exams; and help you overcome obstacles that may be keeping you from realizing optimal health.

- Offer medical, social and emotional support
- Work with you to set goals and monitor progress
- Provide referrals to community resources for:
- Caregiver relief/support
- Equipment/supplies
- Financial assistance
- Living/housing arrangements
- Transportation
- Food assistance

Meet your health coach
Haley Marsh, RN - Health Coach
Haley Marsh, RN is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Haley joined the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics team in 2019 with a background in Behavioral Health Nursing.
Haley's interest in becoming a Health Coach started while working in Behavioral Health and helping all kinds of patients work towards their health and personal goals while also helping them balance their chronic health issues.
There are many reasons a person may see a Health Coach. She can help patients set and monitor personal health care and lifestyle improvement goals, help manage their blood pressure and blood sugars (alongside their health care provider), and provide referrals to community resources such as equipment/supplies, financial, food and medication assistance and more.
